Welcome to Augustinian Academy!  What a joy it is for me to be back in such a wonderful school!  I started at Augustinian Academy seven years ago as a teacher.  To return as a principal is an honor and privilege.  I started my teaching career 23 years ago as a public school middle school English teacher. While there, I received my MA in Admin. from SLU but never really wanted to leave the classroom.  Twelve years ago, I answered God’s call to enter religious life and joined the Sisters of St. Joseph and began teaching in our Catholic schools.  It was such a joy to not only welcome God back into the classroom but to also teach the Catholic faith and spread the charism of the Sisters of reconciling love—that all may be one in serving our Dear Neighbor.  I have recently said yes to another call…to become a principal here at Augustinian.  It is my prayer that through our students, families, faculty and staff  we continue to build in our children, a strong foundation of the Catholic faith and service to others as they attain academic excellence.
