Pre-Kindergarten
Augustinian Academy is proud to provide a faith based Pre-Kindergarten program for 3 and 4 year olds. NYS certified, children here are encouraged to learn, play, explore, create and develop social-skills. Augustinian provides a safe, loving, family-friendly environment for your child that prepares them for Kindergarten using a curriculum that is fully aligned with Next Generation Standards.
Schedule
Pre-K 4 year olds attend school 9am-Noon 5 days a week.
Pre-K 3 year olds attend school 9am-Noon 2 days per week. (Either M-W or T-TH)
Reading Program
CKLA
Core Knowledge Language Arts Preschool (CKLA) is a comprehensive English Language Arts curriculum designed to prepare young children for later reading success by building activities that stimulate the enjoyment of books and the appreciation of reading. This program is fully aligned with Engage NY. Emergent literacy skills such as phonological/phonemic awareness, print knowledge and narrative storytelling are systematically introduced throughout the year.
Religious Program
Stories of God's Love
The Stories of God's Love is a religious readiness program that helps children take their first steps on the journey of faith and beyond. The Scripture stories nurture and enrich the spiritual lives of children ages three, four and five through an easy to understand, real-life story.
