Admission

CAA accepts students of all faiths and races. All students are expected to participate in religion class and religious services.  This school is also authorized under federal law to enroll immigrant alien students.

Registration

Parents are required to register their children each year.  Forms are sent home in the spring so that accurate book orders and class assignments may be made for the following year.  It also assists us in budget development.

Children must be 5 years old by December 1 to enter Kindergarten in September of the same year.  Please note: state law requires that all children who turn six during the school year must be enrolled in school.

Parents enrolling a child in Kindergarten are required to bring a birth certificate, baptismal certificate (if Catholic), and health records which verify immunization dates.  The child must also perform adequately on the screening instrument used to help determine readiness for formal schooling.

Students entering grades 1-8 for the first time must obtain a transfer prior to leaving their former school and parents must sign record release forms.  It is necessary for a parent to meet with the principal at the time of registration.
